1. Freight Forwarder

We are seeking a new permanent, full time member of the team for our Logistics and Forwarding department at our main office in Hambledon, Hampshire.

Position Overview

Management of shipments

  • Arranging freight pick up and deliveries
  • Arranging international/domestic freight through to destination
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is supplied and accurate to ensure a smooth movement of goods
  • Tracking shipments
  • Storage management
  • Invoicing customers and producing quotes/costings
  • Communicate effectively with customers globally

Position Requirements

  • Experience of freight forwarding environment
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills

2. Administrator

We are seeking a new permanent, full time member of the administration team at our main office in Hambledon, Hampshire.

Position Overview

  • Placing orders onto suppliers, ensuring the business maximises value for money & service
  • Creating deal registrations, ensuring we are maximising discounts
  • Providing pricing to Sales Support
  • Modifying & maintaining backorder report
  • Working with Sales Support or Sales to resolve any order queries
  • Assisting with contract data & keeping the database up to date
  • Creating sales invoices & despatch notes
  • Obtaining third party quotes

Position Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be someone who works well under pressure with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT products & services would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills (written & verbal)
  • Good system skills, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft access would be advantageous
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task
  • Understand the sense of urgency where required
  • Good attention to detail
  • Organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Self-motivated
